This qualification provides the skills and theoretical and practical knowledge for work or further learning in the conservation and ecosystem management sector. Work roles in this sector can cover a broad range of skills, or can be focussed on one or more specialisations. 

Individuals with this qualification perform a range of conservation and ecosystem management activities including site restoration and rehabilitation, management of national parks and reserves, biosecurity and biodiversity. They contribute to the preservation and maintenance of wildlife and their habitat in the natural ecosystem. 

Your core training will also cover work health and safety practices and ecological and cultural site inspections, and you will have the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in a range of conservation, restoration and ecosystem management activities. 

On successful completion of this course, you will be equipped with the skills you need to seek employment across a wide variety of roles in the Conservation and Ecosystem Management industry.
