This short course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a tractor and a front-end loader in an agricultural environment.
In this course, you will learn how to prepare tractors and front-end loaders for operation, select the right safety gear and equipment, as well as carry out pre-start checks and daily servicing. You’ll climb aboard and learn to drive a tractor smoothly, using various operating techniques and work practices, and follow shut down procedures. On the front-end loader, you’ll also learn how to select the right loading technique for a variety of work conditions.
This two-day course is suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced operators who need a refresher. With a strong emphasis on safety, you will also learn how to identify potential hazards and risks and implement safe working practices to manage risks.
