Students will develop the practical and theoretical skills required to fly drones safely and legally in Australian airspace, in line with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations.
The course covers pre-flight planning, mission execution, risk assessment, and post-flight procedures across a variety of operational environments relevant to Tasmania's landscape and industries - from agricultural land and forestry to coastal and alpine terrain.
